 Son Sound Studios is a multi-dimensional company located just over 20 miles from Charlotte, North Carolina and less than 1 mile from I-85. We have over 20 years of professional recording experience, so there is no doubt we are fully capable of helping you in any area of the recording world!Son Sound accommodates your needs in a comfortable environment. Our educated and experienced engineers have recorded some of Christian Music's top artists and have many of their leading albums and chart songs to their credit. You may use your own banc , or we can arrange for studio musicians to play tracks for you. You may also utilize our large library of prepared soundtracks which are available for lease. If you are a soloist, we will arrange for studio background singers to compliment your lead vocal.Our facilities house two control rooms, one is used for tracking and vocal sessions, while the other is specifically designed for mixing and mastering sessions. We have a large "live" room for recording many elements at once while isolating the individual track. Our offices house a graphic designer, duplication services, artist development and promotions as well as an artist lounge. Son Sound has been owned and operated by William R Robinson and his son, Mike, but as of April 1st, 2010 the "mic" so to speak was passed along to the next generation. Holly Robinson-Blanton has over 20 years of combined experience in the music industry as an artist, producer and designer and is the new studio manager at Son Sound. Her father, Mike is still on staff over-seeing the duplication division of the studio and her brother Ritchie Robinson is one of our engineers. Combine all their experience in the music industry with many talented studio vocalists, award-winning musicians and top producers, who have all played with or recorded top artists themselves and you have a formula for unlimited creativity and professionalism. |
